At last, I've found some time to convert the forums! Hopefully the new forums will be easier on the eyes. Kevin is working on brushing up the new theme, and I'm working on getting the conversion from phpBB to MyBB ready. It decided to set everyone to "hidden" on the new forums and the auto-vip-upgrade is designed for phpBB so I'll have to re-write that.
So the reason for telling you this is to let you know that later there will be some forum downtime where we halt new posts, shimmy everything to the new forums and then panic when it all goes wrong. After we fix it, we'll re-open the forums and almost everything will be honky-dory. Almost. Avatars are the only thing I can see being lost, but I might write another script to fix that. Oh and all the links and bookmarks will be different, so expect some 404 errors for the first few days. Maybe I'll write another script for that, too. Anyway, wish us luck and provided all goes well I'll see you on the new forums later today!

It's that time again! We'll be needing a few extra hands, especially over the Christmas break. I stress a few, since we'll only be accepting a small number. Same drill as last time, just follow the link to the Google form and submit! If you're unsuccessful there will always be another chance later.

It's turned into some sort of bi-weekly update system here. Or maybe more, I can't remember the exact date of the last big update. I ended up coding a lot this week and throwing most of it away because it didn't work properly. Unfortunately, some of these were suggestions made by community members - sorry! I may go back at a later date and re-make it, though. This update sees three main features added:
1. To opt in as warden, you microphone has to be verified. This will be done automatically if you talk before you opt-in, or it will ask you to speak when you opt in as warden. If you don't do either of these things, it wont let you become a warden. At least this way we'll always have wardens with mics!
2. Warden pointer. If you're a warden and you press Left alt (walk button, may change later), you can place a waypoint that everyone can see. This is useful for directing players to locations. This took much longer to get working, but it seems worth it in the end. MadyKevy again pushed for a nicer looking pointer, while I would have settled for less. You can thank him for the nice icons and the neatness of it. I'll post a picture in the comments link below.
3. ?????. This one is a VIP only feature. I decided to give VIPs some love and add a whole new feature. Only two people know what this is so far, but it's pretty big! You'll see what I mean when you join the game
On top of this, I've fixed a few bugs and added some nice features (such as a damage log, so you can see who's randomly shooting you - only allowed for prisoner team!)
I'll do my best to get the update out this weekend, not making any promises though!
